Investor Visa (DT1–DT4)
Foreign investors and shareholders can enter and stay in Vietnam on an investor visa (symbol DT1–DT4) tied to their capital contribution, without needing a separate work permit route.
The DT symbol and validity period scale with capital invested — DT1 (largest, over VND 100 billion) down to DT4 (smallest) — and a valid investor visa is generally the basis for later applying for a Temporary Residence Card.
